Welcome to today’s blog. I know this is a busy time of year and I want to thank you for stopping by .
Recently I have been on Pinterest, which I haven’t been on in a long time because I have been so focused on writing that when I am done I just want nothing else but to unplug!
When I did get back on Pinterest I loved seeing my board on quotes. I love quotes. Visiting my board was a boost that I sorely needed. Isn’t that nice when that happens, out of the blue (seemingly) ? I think so. I felt inspired again, refreshed, more positive. I was left to wonder, if I love quotes, why haven’t I taken to positive affirmations? have tried affirmations. They seem to help but I leave them quickly, not sticking with them very long. Perhaps it is my impatience coming through.
What inspires you? What brings new energy to you, your dreams and thoughts? Are you making any time for those things in your life? I hope you are. Life is so busy, it is easy to push aside those things or just that one thing that adds shine and spirit to your life. I am going to make more time for those things this coming year. I am so ready for 2015.
Here is one of my favorite quotes, kind of applicable to this topic, actually.
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away,” rephrased by Hilary Cooper. Loved by me.
This quote stirs so much within me. It rekindles within me my desire to see and do, to live each day with passion and gratitude. My urge to explore this world I live in is strengthened. An awareness that I am lucky to be alive and should not take a single thing for granted is only made stronger when I think about what this quote means to me. I want to make memories. That goes along with another favorite quote, “collect memories, not things”. Ah, that’s the spirit.
What quote has influenced you, made an impact in some way?
Remember to make time for what inspires you. You don’t have to wait for the new year. Make every day count!
Wishing you much peace, love and inspiration.
